| | Tickets are now available from the Tourist Office in Kirkwall – and this year for the first time we also have them online.
This is through the kind assistance of e-availability, a company based in Forres who supply online systems all over the country. Their systems are used for booking everything from doctors' appointments to holiday cottages, from cabin crew accommodation to Belgian chocolate making events, and we very much like the way in which they operate.

You'll see a list of the various days, and then you click on any one of them and see a list of events for that particular day. There is also a section for Lecturepasses, which provide admission for all the £4 & £2 events.
Indeed, as a special feature this year, to celebrate the 20th Festival, we're giving away – completely free – 20 of these Lecturepasses.
The Lecturepass is normally sold for £32, and we're giving a number of them away, on a first come, first served basis, to 20 young people who are under the age of 20.
All you have to do is to email us at science@orkney.org with your name, address and date of birth.
